Stephen Bainbridge will discuss the "New" New Deal, what the Paulson Bailout was and whether it was necessary, what the policy results will be, and what the practical results mean for you.

Prof Bainbridge is one of the nation's foremost corporate layers, is the William D. Warren Professor of Law at UCLA, where he currently teaches Business Associations, Unincorporated Business Associations, and Advanced Corporation Law. In past years, he has also taught Corporate Finance, Securities Regulation, Mergers and Acquisitions, and seminars on corporate governance. Prof. Bainbridge has written more than 50 monographs for legal journals, including such leading publications as the Harvard Law Review, the Virginia Law Review, the Northwestern University Law Review, the Cornell Law Review, the Stanford Law Review and the Vanderbilt Law Review. He has also written a number of legal textbooks. Although much of his writing has been of a technical nature, he has developed considerable experience in writing for a general audience in his capacity as a weekly columnist for the TCS Daily e-zine (http://www.tcsdaily.com/).
